Variables allow you to easily store and recall a phone number, address, email, phrase, etc. When you create one, it means you can change the information in one place and it will change everywhere else that the variable is used. They can easily be added, changed, or deleted by going to the Settings tab.



Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the Variables section.



Creating Variables

Click the Add Variable button and you will be presented with the fields below.



Give the variable a name first. This is what you'll actually type to recall the variable. Keep it short to keep it easy later on. The value is what is actually stored and relates to the name of the variable. Make sure to hit Save Variables & Settings to insure you don't loose any work. Once you do this, you'll see how to use the variable in the Usage category.



Using Variables

When you create a variable, you'll see the name of the variable under usage as {{VARIABLE}}. This is what you type in a reply to display the Value.


For example, if you use the variable greeting in a question, while the text looks like this:
